COMBAT AIKIDO ASSOCIATION

SENSEI MOON founded the COMBAT AIKIDO ASSOCIATION in 2008. He assembled an advisory board of a variety of martial artists.
SENSEI MOON founded the COMBAT AIKIDO system because of the weaknesses of the Aikido system that he had been previously taught. Many of the techniques he learned were too rigid and formalistic to be practical in scenarios of chaotic street fighting. SENSEI MOON favors utilizing useful techniques from various sources.

Some of the highlights of SENSEI MOON's background include: Scholastic Wrestling 1976-1982, American Karate 1989, Shito-ryu Karate 1996-1998, Hakko-ryu Jujitsu 1996-1998, Aikido 2003- present, attended seminars: Silat, Kenpo, Ninjutsu, Brazilian Jujitsu 2009, Boxing 2009- present & Krav Maga 2009- present.
